Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium
AN EVENING OF OSVALDO GOLIJOV:

IGNITE YOUR SOUL WITH THE POWER OF MUSIC
In February, we present a profoundly moving production of Bluebeard’s Castle, where love takes centre stage. Originating from the Theatre of Sound in London, UK, this contemporary production tells a love story shadowed by dementia.
Each door Judith opens is a step into her past, exploring her memories and identity.

Directed by Daisy Evans, with a new libretto by Evans, and arrangement by Stephen Higgins, this English-sung opera offers a powerful narrative about the complexities of the human mind, and heart, under the baton of Simon Rivard.
